What is a stretchy wrap?
It's a strip of fabric specially made for baby carriers that wraps the baby using knots.
AYU stretchy wraps are famous for introducing babywearing and are like a transitional carrier. They are very soft!
Any brand of stretchy wrap (don't be fooled) will feel comfortable until it starts to feel a "rebound effect." This happens when the baby is around 9 kg. This is due to the material: cotton and spandex. And it's time to switch to a rigid carrier (long walks are very pleasant with those we make from organic fabric, ideal for carrying little ones over 9 kg and for many more years).
If you decide to use it beyond that weight, restrict its use to shorter walks, with proper adjustment and knots with more than two layers that support the little one's weight well (it can stretch).
