What is a stretchy wrap?
It is a strip of fabric specially made for baby carriers that wraps around the baby using knots.
AYU stretchy wraps are famous for introducing babywearing and serve as a transitional carrier. They are very soft!
Any brand of stretchy wrap (don't be fooled) will feel comfortable until you start to feel a "rebound effect." This usually happens when the baby is around 9 kg. This is due to the material: cotton and spandex. And it's time to switch to a woven wrap (long walks are very pleasant with the ones we make from organic fabric, ideal for carrying little ones over 9 kg and for many more years).
If you decide to use it beyond that weight, restrict its use to shorter walks, with proper adjustment and with knots of more than two layers that adequately support the baby's weight (it can stretch).
