What is a stretchy wrap?
It is a strip of fabric specially made for baby carriers that wraps around the baby using knots.
AYU stretchy wraps are famous for introducing babywearing and are like a transitional baby carrier. They are very soft!
Any brand of stretchy wrap (don't be fooled) will feel comfortable until it starts to feel a "bouncy effect." This happens at approximately 9 kg of baby weight. This is due to the material: cotton and spandex. And it's time to switch to a woven wrap (long walks are very pleasant with those we make from organic fabric, ideal for carrying babies over 9 kg and for many more years).
If you decide to use it beyond that weight, restrict its use to shorter walks, with proper adjustment and with multi-layer knots that adequately support the baby's weight (it can stretch).
