What is a stretchy wrap?
It is a strip of specially made fabric for baby carriers that wraps the baby using knots.
AYU stretchy wraps are famous for introducing babywearing and are like a transitional baby carrier. They are very soft!
Any brand of stretchy wrap (don't be fooled) will feel comfortable until it starts to feel a "rebound effect". This happens approximately when the baby is about 9 kg. This is due to the material: Cotton and Spandex. And it's time to switch to a woven wrap (long walks are very pleasant with the ones we make from organic fabric, ideal for carrying little ones over 9 kg and for many more years).
If you decide to use it beyond that weight, restrict its use to not very long walks, with a proper adjustment and with knots of more than two layers that support the weight of the little one well (it can stretch).
