What is a stretchy wrap?
It is a strip of fabric specially made for baby carriers that wraps the baby using knots.
AYU stretchy wraps are popular for beginning babywearing and are like a transitional baby carrier. They are very soft!
Any brand of stretchy wrap (don't be fooled) will feel comfortable until a "rebound effect" begins to be felt. This happens when the baby is approximately 9 kg. This is due to the material: Cotton and Spandex. And it's time to switch to a woven wrap (long walks are very pleasant with those we make from ecological fabric, ideal for carrying little ones over 9 kg and for many more years).
If you decide to use it beyond that weight, restrict its use to shorter walks, with proper adjustment and with knots of more than two layers that support the baby's weight well (it can stretch).
