What is a stretchy wrap?
It is a strip of specially manufactured fabric for baby carriers that wraps the baby using knots.
AYU stretchy wraps are popular for beginning babywearing and are like a transitional baby carrier. They are very soft!
Any brand of stretchy wrap (don't be fooled) will feel comfortable until a "rebound effect" begins to be felt. This happens when the baby is approximately 9 kg. This is due to the material: Cotton and Spandex. And it's time to switch to a woven wrap (long walks are very pleasant with those we make from organic fabric, ideal for carrying babies over 9 kg and for many more years).
If you decide to use it beyond that weight, restrict its use to not-too-long walks, with proper adjustment and with multi-layer knots that adequately support the baby's weight (it can stretch).
