What is a stretchy wrap?
It is a strip of specially made fabric for baby carriers that wraps around the baby with knots.
AYU stretchy wraps are famous for beginning babywearing and are like a transitional baby carrier. They are very soft!
Any brand of stretchy wrap (don't be fooled) will feel comfortable until it starts to feel a "rebound effect." This happens at approximately 9 kg. This is due to the material: cotton and spandex. And then it's time to switch to a woven wrap (long walks are very pleasant with the ones we make from organic fabric, ideal for carrying little ones over 9 kg and for many more years).
If you decide to use it beyond that weight, restrict its use to short walks, with proper adjustment and with multi-layer knots that firmly support the weight of the little one (it can stretch).
